Exile Retrieval Imagery

Using imagination to bring isolated Parts into present safety.

Description

In Witnessing & Retrieval, imagery gives form to repair. You might picture entering a past scene, offering protection, or inviting the exile to today’s safe environment. Symbolic accuracy is irrelevant: felt safety is the point.

What Exile Retrieval Imagery is NOT:

Fantasy roleplay; re-living trauma; forcing forgiveness.

Examples:

You shield a child-Part from an old scene, then guide it home.
An exile leaves the dark room when a protector nods yes.
A warm light envelops both as they integrate.
