Burdens
Imported beliefs, emotions, and energies that cling to parts but aren’t intrinsic to them.
Description
Burdens are acquired via trauma, family, or culture. They feel like truth but behave like cargo: with witnessing and safety, they can be put down.
What Burdens is NOT:
Original sin; immutable traits; “bad parts.”
Examples:
“I must be perfect or be rejected.”
“In anger there is only danger.”
Inherited dread from wartime stories.
