Young, possibly hurt parts carrying the original wounds and beliefs.

Description

Exiles hold pain, fear, and beliefs (“I’m unlovable”). They’re not weak: just burdened and isolated. With safety and witnessing, they can reconnect and update.

What Exiles is NOT:

Permanent helplessness; pathology.

Examples:

A 6-year-old terror of rejection.
Grief from chronic neglect that surfaces during intimacy.
A frozen belief that anger breaks love.
