Inner Alignment
Your Parts and values pointing in roughly the same direction, so decisions stop feeling like civil war.
Description
Alignment means protector strategies serve actual goals (connection, health, craft), not just fear minimization. It emerges from Self-led negotiation, updated beliefs, and realistic commitments.
We wrote about it and to also apply it to outer alignment in our series on Align Your Life.
What Inner Alignment is NOT:
White-knuckle discipline; vibes-only authenticity; “AI inner alignment.”
Examples:
A Perfectionist shifts from “never ship” to “ship with review gates.”
A People-Pleaser agrees to say two honest “no’s” weekly.
A Rebel becomes a boundary defender, not a destroyer.
